Guilt Free Aquatics believes operates by the motto "Reef Responsibly" - Responsibly Grown and Responsibly Sourced coral programs to only bring you the best coral possible.
We back all of coral with our Guilt Free Guarantee - if it is not healthy, is not sustainable, or is not right, we will not sell it.
Responsibly Grown
As often as possible, we move coral we receive into our Responsibly Grown aquaculture program. Aquaculturing coral reduces the reliance on wild-caught coral while also helping acclimate future generations of coral to life in a reef tank. Our aquaculture facility utilizes industry-proven husbandry procedures to farm coral across a variety of genus and species.
Look for coral tagged as "Aquacultured" when shopping!
Responsibly Sourced
All the coral in your tank was at one point in its lineage in the ocean - and that's okay! While there are collection facilities that use outdated or poor practices, heavy regulation globally is improving the way coral is harvested and sourced. To that end, Guilt Free Aquatics only works with vetted providers when sourcing our new additions. Additionally, all coral we receive goes through a conditioning process to ensure it is pest-free, healthy, and ready for tank life before being offered for sale.
